The service

ExpiryBeacon checks the security certificates of public websites, and can do so on a schedule. Results are a helpful guide, not a guarantee that a site is secure, reachable or set up correctly for everyone.

What you must not do

Only monitor systems you are allowed to check. Do not use the service to get around security controls, overload websites, probe private networks or break the law. We may limit abusive traffic or suspend access.

Your responsibility

You are still responsible for renewing your certificates, keeping your contact details up to date and running your systems. Keep your own renewal process too, because emails and checks can fail.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available and may change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue, or outages caused by missed, late or wrong alerts.
